Currently in the marketplace today there is no shortage of software service providers for the tennis industry, with offers ranging from barely functional to brilliant and prices all over the map. The biggest drawback to every system and company currently in the market is that they sell a product - a product that they expect you to use, manage, edit, support etc. This is not a bad thing - it’s what all software companies do - you buy their product, they provide various levels of support (usually directly proportional to price) and you the customer use the software.
This is where the problems arise. Except for large year round clubs, most facilities do not have anyone to manage that software. Programming and registration starts months before the season begins and there is usually no one at the facilities during that time or someone paid to act in an administrative capacity . Rarely is it cost that keeps facilities from moving into on-line systems, rather lack of personnel, integration into current systems, and time are the larger challenges that keep them from moving from a paper-based system.
MyTennisClub.net was developed not as a software product, but rather as a service that utilizes software (SaaS). MyTennisClub.net requires no integration, it is a stand alone product that member/users log into for all tennis functions. PTM manages the system for a monthly service fee and offers various levels of control to the you and your staff during their season.
